I studied ‘Fine Art’ painting for degree and then an MA at Central Saint Martins studying Illustration, specializing in printmaking .I am a member of the Southbankprintmakers Gallery in London, where I regularly exhibit and sell my work.

I use the ‘drypoint’ printmaking method, which allows me to ‘hand colour’ my prints using watercolour, gouache and sometimes collage. I usually produce work in editions of about twenty five. The prints shown here are each approximately 60 x 40 cm or under, unless otherwise stated.

I recreate scenes from everyday life based on observations of people I see. I am fascinated by the city and London in particular. I document institutions such as the local café, pub and ‘pie and mash shop and places of public recreation like the fair. I aim to record the detailed fabric of ordinary life which is forever changing and renewing itself.

To create these illustrations I experiment with a wide variety of media and materials to help me realise my ideas. Elements such as drawings, prints, photocopies, icons, type, found ephemera and photography are digitally collaged together to create an image that answers the essence of the brief but in a subtle, creative manner.

Caroline Le Breton’s work investigates the relationship between people and place and how we understand and are formed by our environment. She often uses existing spaces and objects as a basis for transformation and intervention. Instead of creating autonomous art objects she is responding to what is already there.

In both her art and design work Le Breton explores the concept of interior spaces as either a protection from, or connection to the rest of the world. She is interested in the transition from the inside to the outside both literally as a physical journey, and conceptually as an inner journey, from a private sense of self to a lived experience of being in the world.

I graduated from Kingston University with a BA in Illustration back in 1994. Wit, line, colour and soul lay at the heart of what i create. My creations veer from the trivial to the tragic and are made using good old fashioned pencils and pens. I then use Photoshop to add colour and all the sneaky stuff. You can see my work on a number of book covers, in magazine and newspaper pages and even on the occasional bill board. I work for a large variety of clients both here and in America.

Stephanie Fawbert is a portrait and figurative painter.

Using watercolour, often in soft sepias and muted greys she works from photographs to create her images. By using photographs, Fawbert is exploring the feelings that the image itself evokes and strives to reproduce this in her work, as opposed to the photograph itself.

She is currently working on portrait commissions and a series of wide format paintings looking at the rituals of childhood: children at play, the birthday party, the playground, and interaction with animals.
