Claremont Studios is a community interest company dedicated to providing a supportive environment for artistic creativity, enterprise and learning that contributes in a significant way to the cultural life of the town and local economy.
The Centre aims to become financially self-sustainable through a range of funding sources including commercial activities and grant funding. The purpose of the centre is first and foremost social rather than commercial; any profits are reinvested into the development of the organisation for the benefit of the artists and local community.
